Brooke Kerpelman, RN, MS, NP

Biography

A California native, Brooke Kerpelman received her undergraduate nursing degree from Boston College in 1997. In the nine years that she worked as a registered nurse, she cared for both adults and children on acute care post-operative floors. During her nursing career, she served on both the education and pain management committees, working to improving the quality of patient care and pain management provided at UCSF. As charge nurse, she demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills and organized admissions and discharges from 6 Long.

She graduated from the UCSF Family Nurse Practitioner program in June 2006 and is excited to be part of an extraordinary team of surgeons and nurses. She looks forward to serving the children we operate on and the families who care for them.

Brooke  Kerpelman serves on several committees for the UCSF Children's Hospital.

In her spare time, she loves to ski, run, play tennis, cook, and travel. She and her husband live in San Francisco.
